In this episode Stacy and Annie interview Barbara and Adriana from Willow Pregnancy Support. They get an update on The Rose Home construction (refer back to episode #13 : Discussion with Dolores), hear about what services Willow provides for women, and hear stories about the history of the organization and the women who have come to them for help. And what would an episode about Moms and their babies be without Stacy's and Annie's youngest kiddos making themselves heard. As Adriana says in this episode, "We love kids!"

Monday Feb 28, 2022
Monday Feb 28, 2022
Due to weather and illness the co-hosts of Coffee & Catholics were not able to meet this month to record. Rather than missing an episode or asking listeners to wait four weeks for the next episode we decided to do something a little different.
In this episode, Stacy reflects on the talks given at the 2022 Oklahoma Catholic Women's Conference by three fantastic speakers; Leah Darrow, Sr. Marie Veritas, and Kimberly Hahn. She shares some of the quotes from the speakers, connects their talks to each other, and reflects on them as they relate to her current journey.

Episode #36- December 6, 2021: Feminism and Catholic Social Justice Teaching
Tuesday Dec 07, 2021
Tuesday Dec 07, 2021
This is our final episode of this series on Catholic Social Justice Teaching.
In this episode Alisha, Annie, Lauren, and Stacy discuss Feminism through the lens of Rights and Responsibilities and Solidarity, both being themes of Catholic Social Justice Teaching. We discuss the roots of feminism and how the rhetoric has shifted since the 60s and 70s. We propose that we as Catholics should be working together to refocus the feminist conversation back from narrowed personal gains to that of a wider global sustainability. Helping other women be successful and setting the world ablaze with what women are.
"The world doesn't need what women have. The world needs what women are." - St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross (St. Edith Stein)
**** Possible trigger topics that are discussed- abuse, briefly pornography and sex trafficking, abortion

In this episode Alisha, Lauren, and Stacy discuss what to do when we feel like there is a conflict with a family member or friend and we have exhausted all of our olive branches and still feel rejected. We thought this episode would compliment our episodes on Social Justice Teaching (we do have one more coming) and the beginning of the holiday season.
During the episode Stacy quotes numerous times from the book If You Knew My Family, You'd Understand : A Family Systems Primer by Jack Shitama.
