We decided at our last recording session to air the episode on doubt entering into our faith life in August.
This episode seemed perfect for right after Mother's Day and as a companion to our last episode, Episode #20 Mom Wars: Children at Church.
In this episode we discuss how we have to support each other as a community to thrive. From helping new moms to visiting the homebound, what can we do to help each other experience Christ in the world and through the members of the Church.
Please share what has worked in your parish. Share your story of when someone helped you.
I think here at Coffee and Catholics would expand the old saying of "It Takes a Village to raise a Child." to "It Takes a Village to help all of us get to Heaven." And it starts with prayer and silence with the Lord, so that we can be filled with His love and shine His light on others though our deeds.
